Children who struggle academically often end up disliking school and feeling badly about themselves as learners. My goal in developing my tutoring program is to help children feel successful as learners, give them the skills they need to master reading, writing, or math, and help them believe that school is a place where they can achieve and have fun.

I provide a safe and nurturing environment where children are supported as they set and achieve their goals. I work closely with parents to identify children’s strengths and weaknesses and use assessments to help me pinpoint the specific areas we will focus on. I will also work with a child’s teacher to gather more information at a parent’s request.
